How to free your occed base

To deal with total perma occ, is by down scaling everything.. and that means your credit and your attacks..
Start by killing all the trades, Spaceports, Economy centers and the mines....This is always a good idea for several reasons... Apart from limiting what's going to him, a lower economy will repair itself a lot quicker then a higher one... but also, your going to need the extra room....

Now build to kill the pillage.........

First - Construction and Research... Throw everything into Command centers and keep building them 24/7... your aim is to get to level 20....If you haven't enough credit to build the next CC, build anything you can... keep start/stopping it until you do...also, remove any commander from the bases and put them somewhere safe... leaving them there will only get them killed... In the meantime, use the XP on training up two or three Tac Commanders.. don`t send them anywhere... you're going to need them later...

Depending on how much spare credit you have, bury it into research. Even if it means unlocking some labs to do this... If credit is short, lock them back up again...

The idea is to keep everything on all your bases working 24/7 and be on hand to transfer credit from the labs into the CC with not allowing the research to finishes........

And now Production......

The biggest mistake now would be trying to free your bases in `One Shot Kills` or multiple random attacks on random bases. This would only force him to bring more fleet to you, and will wear you down quicker....

Focus on the lowest econ base first and lock down the others with producing Goods in 6, 8 or 10 hour cycles, depending on your activity... Do not waste any credit building fleet on them.....

Defense......

Remove anything less than P-rings and P-shields, as they will recharge faster if the energy is only going to them and not some other turrets first.. and kill the D-shields.. with P-shield, they have the habit of canceling each other out....

Attacks.......

Remember... No one shot kills. Try to just match what`s there....USE A BATTLE CALCULATOR and make sure you figure in the CC. Use fighters only.....

And Now the fun begins... But be on line.....

Build random numbers of fighters, no more that 1000, no less than 100... Also throw in a few fast production into the queue.... Don`t let him guess your inactivity times and attack the moment the fleet spawns... don`t leave fleet just sitting there...

Do this for a few days... then change... no more then 100, but no less then 10 same MO as before, but also throw some HB at him...

Again... after a little while, swap tactics again.....with a twist....

Same MO... with a Tac as base Commander....(the commanders are locked to that base for 48 h... so if you need to switch your attention again to another base, you have spares...)

This is for the Kill, and my favorite tactic.....USE THE BC and send under the correct number of fleet in to your base to arrive at the exact second you have a large fleet spawning also, using your browser tabs, change the name of the fleet at same time.....
Not sure if this, Like the Shotgun Technique adds any time to your fleets protection, but it amuses me to send him little message that his 'easy kill 1000 fighters suddenly became 2 or 3000 fighters.... the in coming fleet should be followed by some empty Carrier or Fleet Carrier.

This is to pick up any free fighters... leaving just one.

By now... either you freed that base or he's so pissed at you he brought his entire fleet on you.... No problem, start building goods and switch your attack from another base...(it's why your cycling goods in hours...not days...)

.....You've cut his income.... giving him almost no pillage... killing his fleet... filling his red box... making him to move his fleet.... and playing with him..... And he doesn't know what your going do next.....

He'll soon get tired of you.........................

From Ceti: thanks to PhantomZen for this
